Apple MacBook pro-2021: Specs Refreshed

Introduction to all-new MacBook pro 16 inch

The MacBook Pro 16 inch 2021 is ready to make its way to the spotlight. Apple’s computing age has brought ample advanced features to the market. MacBook Pro 2021 models are set to take it a step up with their recent upgrades.

The 2021 MacBook Pro uses Apple-made processor and graphics options. It is rumoured that they would have an upgraded display, Silicon M2 Chip, and some much-needed features such as a MagSafe charger. The list of fabulous features included in the 16 inch MacBook Pro makes it look like an incredible machine to look forward to. There are also few changes that the users are expecting in MacBook Pro 2021, let’s find out.

Expected changes on the new MacBook Pro 2021

What to expect from new MacBook pro 2021

We can expect some really big changes with the new Apple MacBook Pro 2021. There is a lot of mystery around its design which will not have the TouchBar. On the bright side, MacBook will see MagSafe for the first time in several years. There are no major hardware changes but some significant ones that we are expecting.

Bigger the size

Information suggests that the flat-edged design may not be too much of a deviation from the current design. The upgraded models will look similar to current models but will feature minor design changes. There may be a slight increase in the physical size of the new Apple MacBook 16 inch. The 16-inch MacBook Pro 2021 features a design that's similar to the prior 15-inch MacBook Pro, but with a slightly larger body and slimmer bezels. It would not be completely insane to expect a better and bigger design from the MacBook Pro 2021.

All-new mini led display

It is rumoured that the upgraded Apple MacBook 2021 will be the first Macs with mini-LED displays, marking a significant improvement in display quality. There are a lot of advantages to having mini-LEDs, which use clusters of tiny LEDs for backlighting. Mini-LED technology will allow for a thinner and lighter design while offering many OLED-like benefits such as improved wide color gamut, high contrast and dynamic range and much more. If any MacBook is going to get a mini-LED display this year, there's a very good chance that it could be the 16 inch MacBook Pro 2021.

Will they change their design this time?

Apple has always paid a lot of emphasis on maintaining the thin design of the MacBook lineup. We are also returning to a MagSafe design instead of a USB-C port. Another outlandish design change is that Apple is considering adding an AirPower charger to a future MacBook Pro, but we cannot be very certain of this addition. We can also expect an increase in the size of the heat pipe, adding thermal pads, and increasing the size of the heat sink by 35 percent that will improve airflow and heat management.

Rumors to look for on MacBook Pro 2021?

Rumors about MacBook Pro 2021

There is still a lot to know about the specifications of MacBook Pro 2021, but there is very little known at this point. The 14-inch MacBook Pro will replace the existing 13-inch version, while the 16-inch model will be a successor to the current 16-inch MacBook Pro. Both the new models will have a flat-edged design that has been described as similar to the iPhone 12 with no curved edges like current models. It would also be safe to say that Apple will take the Magic Keyboards over to the MacBook Pro 2021 versions.

The new 16 inch MacBook Pro will not have an Intel CPU, instead will have Apple Silicon Chip, a stellar battery life, and much more. Apple is ready to use the M2 chip for its MacBooks 2021. The 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will have upgraded Apple silicon chips with a 10-core CPU that features eight high-performance cores and two energy-efficient cores, along with 16-core or 32-core GPU options. It will feature a 4-nanometer process node, which promises a bigger boost in performance but not at the cost of power efficiency.

If you are looking to buy a 16 inch MacBook Pro, you should wait for the updated model which will feature a MagSafe charging connector, more ports and physical function keys. This model will include a larger range of ports. This step has been partly introduced to reduce the need for dongles, and it will also be the first time since late 2015 that a new MacBook has had anything other than USB-C. The upcoming Pro models will give the most significant design overhaul to the MacBook Pro line to address the previously missed out features.

Expected release date and price

Expected release date and Price

The new MacBook Pro models are expected to launch in the third quarter of 2021. A report by DigiTimes has indicated that Apple will release MacBook Pro models in September 2021, but it's more likely that we'll see them in October as new iPhones are expected in September and Apple will keep some space between different product releases. So we can guess that the Macbook Pro 16-inch 2021 will come out sometime during the second half of 2021.

We do not have much information about the expected price for MacBook Pro 2021. Even though the current 16-inch MacBook model starts at $3500, we cannot accurately guess the amount that we will be paying for the 2021 MacBook Pro 16 inch model. Since there are not any major hardware changes we can reasonably assume that Apple will be prepping the 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro to have a similar price tag this time around.

The MacBook Pro 2021 models are set to be Apple's high-end, performance-focused laptop with its own more powerful and efficient custom silicon chip. Apple is phasing Intel-based Macs out of its product lineup for more improvement. The updated 16 inch 2021 MacBook Pro will introduce MagSafe, silicon chip, mini-LED display and a lot more. The new models will feature the most significant design overhaul to the MacBook Pro line that we've seen in a while.
