What is the difference between

Zip Money and Zip Pay?

Zip Money and Zip Pay are two separate products with a couple of key differences, but customers with any of the 2 accounts can now shop at all Zip merchants.

Zip Pay is an online shopping wallet with a credit limit of up to $1,000, always interest-free. A monthly account fee of $6.00 is only charged if there's money owing at the beginning of the month.

To shop online, simply select Zip Pay as your method of payment and then log into your Zip Pay account to use your available funds. Repayments start from as little as $40 a month and can be scheduled monthly, fortnightly or weekly. You can also make additional one-off repayments whenever you like!

Zip Money is a line of credit for larger amounts, generally $1,000 and above. Zip Money offers customers a guaranteed 3 months interest-free across all products and up to 36 months with some retailers. The length of the interest-free period varies among individual merchants and is confirmed with the user prior to purchase.

There is a small establishment fee based on your credit limit, which we confirm in your contract, as well as a $6.00 monthly account keeping charge while there is an outstanding balance.
