Overview
The Panasonic AG-UX90 UHD 4K Camcorder recoreds UHD 3840 x 2160 video with up to 8 mode gamma. In addition to the large, 1.0 type MOS sensor, the AG-UX90 is equipped with a wide-angle lens that produces dramatic bokeh and a focal length that ranges from 25.4 to 367.5mm with a 15x optical zoom. The camera's 5 axis Hybrid Image Stabilizer eliminates handshake and the 3 ring lens design allows precise iris/focus/zoom control.
Three shutter speeds are possible with the shutter system System, Slow, and Syncro Scan. Brightness and shutter can be controlled to a greater extent with the three-step variable gain switch. Recording features include 4K/FHD/HD/SD resolutions, MOV, MP4, and AVCHD formats with H.264 and MPEG 4 compression, frame rates up to 60 fps, pre-recording interval functions, freeze frames, timestamps, and timecodes, and 8.3MP JPEG stills in 3840 x 2160 resolution and 16-bit audio. SDHC and SDXC media can be recorded to two SD slots, while UHS-I is supported.
It is also possible to record by rolling over from one slot to another when the first card becomes full. External media can also be recorded via a USB 3.0 output. It features dual XLR inputs, HDMI/composite video/audio outputs, and 3.5mm stereo headphone output. The camera's automatic assist features include 4K autofocus, white balance, one-touch AF, focus preset transition, peaking, auto iris, and brightness display. Among the 16 axis colour correction, skin and master-detail adjustments, and six preset scene files with custom scene options, there is a 16 axis colour correction preset. To preview your video and adjust your settings, use either the 3.5 type HD display or the .24 type OLED viewfinder.
