Sigma's 16mm f/1.4 DC DN is a member of the company's Contemporary series of lenses and is designed to fit Sony mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors. A lens with an aperture of f/1.4 is powerful enough to work in low-light conditions, and it enables you to control the depth of field for selective focus. Several aspherical and low dispersion elements are employed in the optical design to control colour fringing and various aberrations, allowing for high sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. When working in strong lighting conditions, individual elements also feature a Super Multi-Layer Coating to suppress flare and ghosting.
